Melody Crombie Campaign: Updated 2021
In 2015, I launched a campaign to bring Godliness back to our nation when I realized that like the unsinkable Titanic of 1912, America had struck an iceberg of immorality; one that seemed small and inconsequential on the surface but has the potential to sink our entire nation.
Like the ancient city of Sodom and Gomorrah who were completely overthrown in one day, we are slated for the same fate. Their story can be found in Genesis 19, the first book of the Bible. It reads like a bad zombie novel, where the men were so enslaved by their passions, they no longer cared about anything; they had ceased at being good fathers, husbands, workers and citizens (pretty sure they weren’t paying their taxes). I would advise against inviting something into your life that God does not approve of because you won't be able to get rid of it without divine help.
However, the bible tells us that there is a sin that is worse the sin of homosexuality that was prevalent in Sodom and Gomorrah. We are told that the people of that town were “Arrogant, overfed and unconcerned.” As Christians we are never supposed to sit back fat and happy while the people around us are headed for annihilation and hell.
We are told that God would have spared Sodom and Gomorrah if ten righteous people could have been found in it. Today, your godly righteousness not only matters, it may be the reason why God has not wiped out your city, state or country off the map!
The Bible asks an interesting question, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his soul?” This question shows the value of the human soul in comparison to everything the world can offer. If you are single or childless you may be thinking marriage or children will bring you happiness. Maybe you are just holding out hope for that college degree, promotion, new purchase, raise, winning lottery ticket, (whatever it is) to bring you the peace, happiness and contentment you’ve been longing for.
The Bible tells us there was one man who had it all, long before Wikipedia or Google people would come from near and far to listen to his wisdom because it was beyond measure. He’s still listed as The Number One Richest Person of all time, his name is King Solomon of Israel. He was born almost 3,000 years ago, his wealth has been valued at 2.1 Trillion dollars. He had almost a 1,000 wives. He was a prolific writer, his writings are still consulted every day as they became part of the Bible. He took on great building projects, planted vineyards, gardens and parks, had all the entertainment of his time, had the military at his fingertips and had the adoration of his subjects. But at the end of his life he said, “Everything is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.” There is no substitute for a relationship with the living God!
You can be married for decades, have thousands, even millions of followers on social media, have lots of friends and family members but they will never be able to take the place of God in your life. God can love every person like you’re an only child and that’s an amazing accomplishment when you consider the billions of people who are on the planet!
Today, I would like to remind everyone that God is the ultimate judge and final authority on the affairs of man. He alone will judge the earth in righteousness and pay every person back for what they’ve done with the time and resources given to them while living on this planet. In light of this, I challenge every person to do the right thing. Don't wait for tomorrow. Do the right thing now. “Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it,” Psalm 24:14.
Tell the truth, be honest (there is only one qualification the Bible gives for telling the truth and that is to tell, “the truth in love.”) Deal fairly with everyone you meet. Follow the way of love, peace and justice. “God has called us to live in peace,” 1 Corinthians 7:15. So, “Make every effort to live in peace. . .and to be holy,“ for God is Holy,” Hebrews 12:14.
God created you in his image and has given you a free will. For one brief shining moment in time, you have the freedom to choose whom you will serve. Will you follow man or follow God? The people who have openly broken away from following after God have demanded that our leaders, lawmakers and citizens conform to their demands.
This will be to our peril as nowhere in human history does God allow people to make up their own rules without reaping the consequences for their actions.
The punishment for following man, rather than obeying God has often times resulted in sure and swift judgment, punishment and disaster; 'Acts of God' that happen suddenly, with little to no warning. There are times in the bible where God relented from sending disaster, when people repented (as in the story of Jonah) or when a Godly person intervened and prayed for a community (Moses was a great example of that). There is a warning issued in the Bible, “Even if these three men--Noah, Daniel and Job--were [in a certain city], they could save only themselves by their righteousness...” What that tells us is we shouldn’t just sit back and hope the church goers and Bible thumpers are going to pray us out of a crisis. We need to get right with God ourselves.
Every week there seems to be a new threat against the United States issued by other countries. Should we be concerned? Whether it’s man-made or natural, God will not leave the guilty unpunished. In light of this, I urge you to obey God, live to please him, even when that choice is unpopular and difficult. I’m not just trying to be a Doomsdayer, even the Doomsday clock has moved closer to midnight!
So what is the right thing to do? You won’t find out by watching popular television shows, movies or surfing the web.
Nearly 3500 years ago, God delivered his chosen people from slavery, took them out of Egypt and met with them in the desert and gave them the Ten Commandments. That’s a great place to start! This was not a mass hallucination where a few desert nomads wandered around in the blazing sun, drank some Kool-aid and told a tale. This account has been recorded by eyewitnesses and the act of Passover is still practiced by the Israelites to this day.
The first four of the 10 Commandments:
God told us he has written these commandments on our hearts. But because of our fallen human nature, we only seem to recognize them when someone has violated these Commandments against us; when they murder our loved ones, steal our stuff or lie to us. Because God looks at our hearts, he sees that not all violations occur outwardly. When Jesus came to earth the religious leaders were the ones that looked the holiest on the outside but inside they were filled with greed and wickedness. “Like whitewashed tombs. . .filled with dead man’s bones.” Jesus said, “if you look at a person with lust, you've already committed adultery with that person in your heart or if you're angry or hate your brother you've murdered him in your heart.”
Some of us may have broken these commandments several times already today, especially when they include our thought life. God has given them to us to use as a mirror so we won’t depend on our own righteousness or try to validate ourselves before a holy God. Just as your mirror doesn't have the power to make you more beautiful or ugly or help you lose those stubborn 10 pounds; without Jesus the law was powerless to help us change.
They are still important, the Ten Commandments are so important that Jesus said, “It is easier for heaven and earth to disappear than for the least stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law.” I would never want to minimize the effects of breaking one of God's commandments because there are some things you can do that will leave you with regret every single day of your life! While it's true the burned hand teaches best, it's a really painful way to live and learn.
The Ten Commandments have been summed up as the Law Of Love, Love God and Love your Neighbor. They are the foundation and framework of a civilized society. The Ten Commandments are the main theme in the Golden Rule which says, “Do to others what you would have others do to you.”
God gave these commandments, to help set his people apart from the other nations. They were to be, “A chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession,” who would show the whole world what it was like to have a relationship with the Living God. After they received God's directions and promises, God solemnly warned them, “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.”
By following God's laws, the United States has had a long history of peace and prosperity.
We have found hope and comfort in times of tragedy and strife.
From the beginning, God has given us a good and spacious land filled with abundance.
He has given us the ability to prosper, grow food, build homes, settle down and raise our children in relative peace and safety.
God instructed us to follow, love and obey him. He also instructed parents to teach and train your children, “In the way of the Lord,” so they would have peace. Parents, have you done this? Have you modeled Godly living in your homes, in front of your children? This job was not given to the church, public schools or the government but to parents alone. Parents, you were supposed to take those Ten Commandments God gave you and talk about them with your children when you got up in the morning, when you walked along the way and post them on the door frames of your houses and gates and just have them before you all the time.
Children, God commanded you to, ‘“Honor your father and mother” and obey your parents in the Lord, (this is the first commandment given with a promise) that it would go well with you in the land God would give you and you would have a long life.
Why would God command children to Honor their Father and Mother? For starters, your parents have been around the Fiery Stone on the Little Blue Spinning Ball Of dirt longer than you! They have learned valuable life lessons that they want to pass along to you. A caring parent wants to spare you from the mistakes and heartaches they themselves have experienced. A good parent will be your biggest cheerleader and supporter. If you are alive today, it is because someone watched over you, day and night. They invested huge sums of money and time to make sure your needs, wants and even your desires were met. More than likely, one or both of your parents put their own dreams on hold just for you! And they would do it all over again in a heartbeat, for no other reason than the incredible love they have for you!
Even if you didn't have parents who cared for you, the author of life, God himself has allowed you to live. The bible describes a baby that was despised and thrown into a field the day it was born, it's cord wasn't cut, it wasn't washed, rubbed with salt or wrapped in cloths, but God passed by and told that baby to live and it lived. This passage is actually talking about a helpless nation God raised up.
God is able to raise up nations and bring them down as easily as a person playing a civilizations game on a computer. In the Bible in the book of Jeremiah, God told the prophet Jeremiah to go down to the potter's house (that's someone that worked with clay) so Jeremiah went down to the potter’s house but the pot he was shaping at the wheel was marred in his hands so he reshaped it into another pot. Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does with the clay?” declares the Lord. “If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned. And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built up and planted, and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it.
This September, our nation will mark the 20th year anniversary of the September 11th 2001 attacks, when Americans watched in horror as terrorists flew airplanes into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon causing death, destruction and nation panic. Many prayed to God asking for help and mercy.
God heard us!
How can we be sure God hears us when we pray? There were a group of scientists who decided to monitor a woman who was alone and dying from brain cancer to determine what would take place as her brain as she transitioned from life to death. They placed a small microphone in her room that was connected to a device that had previously been used by a 50 kilowatt broadcasting station to send a message around the world. It had a needle pointing to zero at the center of a scale. Both the right and left sides were calibrated to 500 points, the left to negative and the right to positive. As the very last moments of this woman's life arrived she began to pray and praise the Lord. She prayed a beautiful prayer thanking God for his power and love and expressing her love for him. The scientists were listening so intently when suddenly they heard a clicking sound on their forgotten device. The needle was registering a positive 500 and trying to rise higher as it bounced against the 500 positive post in its attempt. By actual instrumentation, the scientists had recorded that this woman’s brain, alone and dying, yet in communication with God had registered more than 55 times the power used by a 50-kilowatt broadcasting station sending a message around the world.
In another similar experiment, a man stricken with a deadly social disease was being monitored by the same device. He verbally abused his attendant cursing both her and God, the needle clicked back and forth against the 500 negative post. The scientists had established by instrumentation the positive power of communication with God and the negative power of the man’s words.
If you’ve been praying and keep wondering why your prayers are not being answered, try praising God and thanking him instead. Thank Him for giving you a body to walk around in, air to breathe, water to drink, food to eat, clothes to wear; He may not be listening to the negative channel. Sometimes God will answer the most outrageous prayers just to get people to pray to him. Christians will oftentimes pray bible verses back to God reminding him of his promises. We should never confuse God with a vending machine, Santa Claus or Genie. Jesus said, "You are like children sitting in the marketplace, 'We played the flute, but you would not dance! We sang a funeral song, but you would not mourn!" Matthew 11:17
What Jesus might have been saying is, don't set up hoops you expect God to jump through, because he's God, not a show pony!
Many Americans made vows and promises to God following 9/11 (or maybe your parents did). I would like to ask you today, have you kept them?
The news headlines suggest that we have not.
Once the rubble was cleared, the memory started to fade, we picked up the pieces of our lives and over the years, went back to business-as-usual.
This decision to ignore our promises, hoping somehow God would forget, was done at great risk, not only to our children but to the future of our nation.
Sometimes, a person under stress or duress will make a rash promise only later to forget about it once the crisis is over. If that's the case, come clean with God today and ask him to forgive you so he'll forget.
Some people wonder how God could ever allow a 9-11 event to happen. The bible talks about solemn promises God sets up with any country or people who obey him, called covenants. It's a conditional contract, however. The country or people who obey God experience God's blessings. He watches over them for their good. When we sin, we break God’s covenant and experience curses instead. The Bible tells us God is too pure to look on evil. He sees the direction we may be headed, he sees the wreckage up ahead and can barely stand to look at that train wreck!
So why does God want us to follow him?
The Bible describes God as the Good Shepherd:
Psalm 23 puts it this way: “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
You may not look after a flock of sheep but think about your children, pets and even plants if you have them. Every day you feed, protect and provide for them.
The Lord is a good Shepherd, He's my Shepherd, He's Your Shepherd, it's Personal.
God cares about you and your needs.
He longs to gather you to himself but all we like sheep have gone astray.
Our immoral behavior has kept us separated from him because God is HOLY.
He sees our heart and describes it as deceitfully wicked. This means we should not rely on our heart or emotions alone to guide us because they will lead us astray. Every person has been given a conscience but if you ignore it often enough it going to go silent.
The Bible tells us that there is a way that seems right to a man but in the end it leads to death.
If you've been around children you know they start out cute, sweet, small and innocent. If you've been around them for any length of time, or have read books or articles in psychology, you know they don't need to be taught how to lie, cheat or steal; it comes naturally and gets worse as we get older. Instead we need to learn how to love, tell the truth and have compassion for our fellow man. Without God it is impossible to do the right thing.
God not only wants to heal our heart, he is willing to give us a new heart and set us free from the disease of sin.
Just as the “Y” chromosome is passed down relatively intact from the father to the son, so our sin was passed down through the human race from Adam, the first man.
The Bible says, "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion." What rebellion would the Bible be talking about? Scientists have shown that traumatic events and other things can affect the DNA and alter the brains and behaviour of subsequent generations. The findings provide evidence of "transgenerational epigenetic inheritance" - where the environment and even memories can affect an individual's genetics, which can in turn be passed onto the offspring.
Jesus Christ bypassed this sinful, diseased, familial line by being conceived by the Holy Spirit and being born of the virgin Mary. He was the only human to ever live a life of complete, absolute moral perfection. That is why God was able to use him as our substitute when perfection was required.
We may wonder how Jesus could be both God and man?
When someone is explaining God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, to children, water can be used as an example because it can be a liquid, a solid when it turns to ice or a vapor. Consider the modern day computer gamer who sits down in front of a computer screen and enters a made-up world.
The game allows the user to customize a player to look any way he wants. He can insert the player anywhere in the game and direct everything about him while he is in the game.
God, the creator of the universe, who said, “Earth is my footstool and Heaven is my throne,” has made something far more sophisticated than a computer game to enter time and space and interact with his creation.
Some people have tried to equate The Bible and Christianity with magic or a Fairy Tale. In an article written by Nate Ahern called,
“Kill the Dragon, Get the Girl” He says:
The Bible is a fairy tale. It is the first and greatest of fairy tales, and it’s the Story that (fairy tale writers) brothers Grimm and Anderson, were reflecting, whether they knew it or not. If you know anything about a good fairy tale, you know that it almost always needs two essentials: a dragon (that gets killed by a brave knight) and a girl (that gets saved by a brave knight). And that’s exactly what the Bible delivers.
This is the Gospel in a nutshell: the Dragon (“that ancient serpent of old,” Rev. 20:2) is hunted down and killed by Christ (the knight on a white horse, Rev. 19:11), and he saves us from our sins to be his bride (Rev. 19:7). Christ kills the dragon and gets the girl. Christ defeats Satan and saves his people. Christ throws down death, then invites us to a huge marriage feast.
Christians also believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. Just as a person might use a pen, computer or cell phone when writing or texting, God used men as his paper and ink to write down the Bible. God promises that, “If you seek God you will find Him, if you seek Him with all your heart.”
Why aren't some of us finding God? Part of the reason is, we don't want God in our lives because he convicts us of our sin and rebellion. Just as a person who is robbing a bank is not going to be motivated to find a police officer while they are into the middle of the robbery.
None of the Christians I know believe God and the Bible are magic, however it may be more like quantum physics. Quantum physics is nothing like classical physics. I’ll briefly explain the double-slit experiment: The modern double-slit experiment shows that light and matter can simultaneously display characteristics of a wave or particle. Until they are measured or observed.
When Physicists fired electrons and photons through a metal plate with two slits, they expected to see two bands appear on a screen that was set up behind it. The two bands would indicate that they acted as a particle. Similar to someone firing BB’s or marbles through a metal plate with two slits. Instead the electrons and photons produced an interference pattern, which meant they acted as a wave. When the physicists set up a device to monitor which slit they went through, to try and determine which path they took, they no longer produced an interference pattern but acted as a particle, producing two bands. The act of observation changed the way the matter behaved.
For several decades physicists had the, “Shut up and calculate” mentality. It wasn’t until the late 1970’s and early 80’s, when desktop computers were made and put into use, then computer games and virtual reality were created that some physicists believe we may actually be living in a giant virtual reality machine, a holographic universe, a code based simulation or are part of a multiverse. I understand why some physicists who don’t believe in God favor the multiverse because we live in a Goldilocks zone, a habitable zone that makes life on earth possible. Consider how Computer professionals create virtual computers inside another computer to isolate and test certain functions like test malicious code. The Bible tells us that God tests us and tries us to find out what is in our hearts. If this dual property of matter is happening on a micro scale it will be happening on a macro scale as well.
This property of duality is similar to what happens when Video Game Designers create video games, the scene appears when the gamer looks at an object the computer renders the object by finding the appropriate files and constructs the scene. When the gamer looks away it converts back to data. They do this by a mathematical representation of points and surfaces in three-dimensional space.
Quantum computers are currently being designed and built based on quantum physics. In quantum physics, entangled particles remain connected so that actions performed on one particle affects the other, even when they are separated by great distances, like a universe apart. This is how some Christians believe we can be here on earth and also, “seated with Christ in heavenly places.” This entanglement phenomenon so riled Albert Einstein he called it "spooky action at a distance." So how important is quantum physics? Some researchers believe that it’s the key to consciousness!
Hope you aren’t holding out hope for Evolution to save you, In 2015, three scientists won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for decades of research into DNA—research that reinforces the idea that evolution is mythology and makes the modern evolutionary theory of abiogenesis seem more and more indefensible. It turns out that DNA is inherently unstable, and the preservation of genetic information requires a complex symbiotic relationship between the cell and DNA that is so interdependent that neither could have arisen independently of the other.
Here’s a quote from the late Max Planck, generally regarded as the father of the Quantum Theory, he said, “As a physicist, that is, a man who has devoted his whole life to a wholly prosaic science, the exploration of matter, no one would surely suspect me of being a fantast. And so, having studied the atom, I am telling you that there is no matter as such! All matter arises and persists only due to a force that causes the atomic particles to vibrate, holding them together in the tiniest of solar systems, the atom. Yet in the whole of the universe there is no force that is either intelligent or eternal, and we must therefore assume that behind this force there is a conscious, intelligent Mind or Spirit. This is the very origin of all matter.”
Here’s a quote from the inventor of DNA computing and Turing Award Winner, Dr. Leonard Adelman, “The most important thing about DNA computing is that it shows that DNA molecules can do what we normally think only computers can do. This implies that Computer Science and Biology are closely related. That every living thing can be thought to be computing something, and that, sometimes, we can understand living things better by looking at them as computers.”
Theoretical physicist, Dr. James Gates, Jr. discovered computer code written in superstring equations that we use to describe the cosmos, strings of bits of 1's and 0's. Not just any computer code but a special kind of computer code, called error-correcting codes, embedded deeply inside the equations of supersymmetry that describe fundamental particles.
Dr. Christian Hellwig of the Max Planck Institute, found evidence that information in our central nervous system is phase encoded, a type of coding that allows multiple pieces of data to occupy the same time. He said, “Our thoughts, our will, our consciousness and our feelings show properties that could be referred to as spiritual properties…No direct interaction with the known fundamental forces of natural science, such as gravitation, electromagnetic forces, etc. can be detected in the spiritual. On the other hand, however, these spiritual properties correspond exactly to the characteristics that distinguish the phenomena in the quantum world.”
I love finding science articles that point directly or indirectly to God, here’s one from 2017:
The Blue Brain team discovers a multi-dimensional universe in brain networks. For most people, it is a stretch of the imagination to understand the world in four dimensions [height, length, width and time] but a new study has discovered structures in the brain with up to eleven dimensions - ground-breaking work that is beginning to reveal the brain's deepest architectural secrets." In this latest research, using algebraic topology, multiple tests were performed on the virtual brain tissue to show that the multi-dimensional brain structures discovered could never be produced by chance. "
I could go on and on with science articles: Okay, here’s one more;
“Physicist and cosmologist Max Tegmark believes that the universe itself is math. Scientists have long used mathematics to describe the physical properties of the universe. In Tegmark's view, everything in the universe — humans included — is part of a mathematical structure. All matter is made up of particles, which have properties such as charge and spin, but these properties are purely mathematical, he says. And space itself has properties such as dimensions, but is still ultimately a mathematical structure.”
Here’s another one:Nov. 2018 “All humans may be descended from just TWO people after a catastrophic event almost wiped out ALL species 100,000 years ago, study suggests Scientists surveyed the genetic 'barcodes' of five million animals - including humans - from 100,000 different species and the results have prompted speculation that we sprang from a single pair of adults after a catastrophic event almost wiped out the human race.”
Here’s another one:Using statistical reasoning, the president of the New York Scientific Society gave a reason why he believed there was a God: Take 10 identical coins and mark them 1 to 10. Place them in your pocket. Now take one out. There is 1 chance in 10 that you will get number one. Now replace it, and the overall chance that number two follows number one is not 1 in 10, but 1 in 100. With each new coin taken out, the risk will be multiplied by 10, so that the chance of ten following nine, is 1 in 10 billion. That is why George Gallup, the American statistician, says, "I could prove God statistically. Take the human body alone – the chance that all its functions would just happen is a statistical monstrosity."
Physicians know the human body is layer upon layer of complexity. If you remove one of those layers or tweek it just a little bit you could be in serious pain or even dead.
DNA is the most complex information storage system.
The Brain is the most complex neural structure in the universe.
The Biosphere is the most complex system.
If science and nature won’t convince you that there is a God, then no amount of articles will convince you because it’s no longer an intellectual issue, it’s spiritual. The bible says, “People who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”
Suffice it to say, Christians will attribute this complexity, creativity, intelligence, spirit and even computer code to Almighty God.
There are many proponents of I.D. Theory, which is Intelligent Design.
All this to say, if you’ve believed the lies, that there is no God, no moral absolutes, you are nothing more than glorified Pond scum...
You may feel like you've gone too far from God today. In fact, you may feel like you're the biggest sinner on the planet.
I would like to assure you that God can bring you back into a right relationship with him TODAY - no matter how far you've gone. His word says, “Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” -Romans 8:39
He's willing and waiting to guide you back.
When I travel, I like to use my cell phone like a GPS. When I take a wrong turn it flashes, “Redirecting” to get me back on the right path. My cell phone doesn't condemn or abuse me. Similarly, when you come to God, He's never going to condemn you because HE LOVES YOU.
The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” -John 3:16-17
When you ask God for help he will guide you back with something better than a cell phone or a GPS. He has given us his word - the Bible and the Holy Spirit. He will use these things and other Christians to guide you back into a right relationship. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved if they call on God out of a pure heart.”
You may decide to wait and see if God will forgive you after you die.
The Bible makes it very clear that it will be Too Late.
Earth is the testing ground. Before we die God gives us two options; We can choose God's way leads to heaven -if we ignore God we are condemning ourselves to hell.
He has given you a free will and you can choose where you will spend eternity.
On average, 150,000 people die around the world Every Single Day.
We are all just a breath and a heartbeat away from death.
Life is short, eternity isn’t it's forever and ever so CHOOSE WISELY because “TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.”
It may seem like following God's rules are too hard - but consider how important rules are when you are out on the road.
All it takes is for one driver to stop obeying the rules of the road to ruin your whole day. Rules and morality matter, not only on the road but in our personal lives, our schools, our businesses and our government.
It will be worth the effort.
Jesus told this parable, “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.”Matthew 13:44
What this parable tells us that we can be 100% SOLD OUT FOR JESUS.
God said he will honor those who love, honor and obey him.
When you read the Bible, I hope everyone is going to read it, live stream it or download it because it's “Living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow” it gets right to the heart of the matter. It is also, “God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” Unlike any other book, ignorance of the Bible isn’t bliss, it’s deadly, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Just as you are not going to be aware of when the food you eat becomes part of your physical body, you are not going to be aware of when the Bible (which is known as the bread of life) becomes part of your spirit man. You’ll discover there are many verses that give us a glimpse into the agrarian culture of its time. There are references to farmers who understood the agricultural terms of sowing and reaping and shepherds who were to watch over their flock.
Today, many of us don't make our living farming or caring for animals, so why are we here? According to the bible, you were created for good works which God prepared in advance for you to do.”Apart from God, “You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” One writer if the bible asked, ”What is mankind that You are mindful of him, human beings that You care for him? Yet You have made him a little lower than the angels And crowned them with glory and honor…”
One of my favorite stories in the Bible is found in the book of Hosea, God told the prophet Hosea to marry a prostitute. We are told that this is what our relationship with God is like. God is Holy, we are not. We are constantly running after other things we think will give us satisfaction, money, other lovers, false gods. But God, in His great love for us pursues us anyway. And just as Hosea gave everything he had to buy his wife back when she was being sold as a slave on the auction block; God has paid the ultimate price to buy us back!
Why are we here on earth?
The Bible says, “From one man God made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.”
Why would God care about your life, what possible interest would He have in you, me or humanity? The Bible describes God as a creator who is in the process of building something. . .We are told that it is a body. He's building a body for his son, Jesus. If you could design your own body, how would it look, what would it do, how would it function? The way you live your life is The Ultimate Litmus Test! God starts the process by first asking if you even want to be part of his body!! None of us has to worry about being the brains because Jesus is the head.
This brings up the importance of obedience; when you go somewhere you want your whole body to go with you, you don’t want your hand to go one direction and your foot to go in another. God wants unity in his body!
Apart from God our future is dark and lonely,
Like the brown dwarfs, the failed stars of the universe. “...wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.” Like a beautiful lamp that never gets plugged into the wall socket, it is useless in the dark, it’s full potential is never utilized apart from the power source.
One writer of the Bible was a tentmaker and compared our earthly bodies to a tent that our spirit dwells in. We’ve also been compared to jars of clay. Maybe if they’d had automobiles back in Bible times he might have compared our earthly bodies to a car. Imagine someone who is locked inside a vehicle for a long trip only to discover that the built-in navigation system is not only broken but reversed. It tries to convince you that it is more important than you, the driver, it is able to do this because it has been linked to the pleasure/pain centers of your brain. Will you allow your car to hang out at the gas station or the racetrack all day or wherever cars like to hang out? As the driver, you have to find a way to get your vehicle under your control in order to get to the correct destination. We are told that our spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.”
We can see the effects of people who’ve allowed their bodies to completely run and ruin their lives: There’s everything from Disease to Debauchery. We even have a TV show called, “My 600-lb Life.”
Even though our bodies have best be described as biological machines we don’t have exoskeletons like our automobiles, we are flesh and blood. The Bible says, “Outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” Scientists have confirmed this by estimating that humans lose anywhere from 30 to 40 thousand skin cells every hour. In one year you will shed more than eight pounds of dead skin. It falls as dust on everything around you, your homes, cars, workplaces, trophies. . .it’s a daily, gentle reminder that, “For you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” Scientists have found that one teaspoon of dust holds the DNA of more than 10,000 species. You can see that God has made something incredible from the dust of the earth when you look around at the beauty and variety of the animal and plant life. When you’ve invited Jesus into your life your body becomes a temple of the living God. If God can do all this with some dirt, dust and clay; imagine what he can do with some elements we’re not even aware of!
Another way to think about how it all might have started is to retell the beginning in computer terms. Here's how it might sound: “In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.” John 1:1 tells us God developed the first Operating System.
If we look at the first man and woman, we can imagine Adam and Eve surfing the web one day when Eve gets a message on her computer. A talking snake pops up and convinces her that God is holding out on her. If she wants to become as wise as God all she has to do is download his file.
Eve manages to bypass the firewall, download the file and passes it along to Adam who downloads it onto his computer.
Suddenly, things start to go terribly wrong. No matter how hard they try to uninstall the software, they cannot.
God finds out they have hacked the system, and kicks them out of paradise. He locks them in a virtual world. Adam and Eve realize that every copy they make, (in other words their human offspring) are equally infected with the virus.
God eventually offers a patch that blocks evil sites but does not completely remove the malware. This would be the Ten Commandments and the Mosaic Law that God gave to Moses.
God tells us if we want to get out of the virtual world back into the real world we have to be free of spiritual malware and viruses. God sent Jesus to earth to completely remove the malware off the hard-drive of our heart. All we have to do is accept the free, “Jesus saves” fix. Once the virus is gone, the bad stuff we’ve done will never be remembered by God again. The patch is so easy to install a child can do it. The Bible says Jesus, “Stand[s] at the door [of our heart] and knock[s]. If anyone hears [his] voice and opens the door, [he] will come in and eat with them” and live with him. There are only three types of people who will ever remember your sins. Once you’ve asked God for forgiveness, he said he would remember, “your sins no more.” God has, “removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west
That is a reference to time. God has completely removed your sins from your timeline! You’ll remember your sins so you don’t get caught in an endless sin, repeat loop. The people you’ve sinned against will remember so you need to ask for forgiveness. If there's something you can do to make it right, you need to make it right. Satan will remember your sin because he’s known as, “The accuser.” When Satan reminds you of your past, simply remind him of his future.
Maybe the simplest way to explain our human condition is to look around and see we are all just human. Some humans do good things, some do crazy-stupid stuff and only a handful seem downright evil.
It may be hard to categorize the things we do in black or white, (right or wrong) when a lot of the choices we make seem to fall in a “gray area.”
This reminds me of the gray scales I used to make in college. The gray scales I used to make were made up of ten squares, the first square was white, the ones in between were gray, going from light gray to dark and they ended in black. Here is a representation of a gray scale:
- You shall have no other gods before Me.
- You shall not make idols.
- You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain or use God’s name to do evil.
- Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
- Honor your father and mother.
- You shall not murder.
- You shall not commit adultery.
- You shall not steal.
- You shall not lie.
I could go on and on with science articles: Okay, here’s one more;
“Physicist and cosmologist Max Tegmark believes that the universe itself is math.
Humanity is somewhere in this gray area. While it is tempting to compare to ourselves to the person next to us, it will ultimately result in a warped picture of what it means to be good, because we could be standing between Saint Sally and Jihadi John. Depending on your viewpoint, you will either be left with feelings of inferiority or superiority when you use mankind as a benchmark for goodness.
So how can we get into heaven? If you want to get inside someplace that’s exclusive, you not only have to know the rules but follow the rules. A good example of this is the White House, if you want to get inside you have to know somebody, be somebody, pass security checks or work there. You cannot just come in off the street and demand to be let inside. The men and women who guard the White House are going to make sure you do not get past them!
Let’s imagine that President Biden's son, Hunter, would like some of his friends to come over. He tells them they can bypass the usual security checks by coming to a certain gate at a certain time and saying a secret phrase like, “Hunter’s friend,” and they will be let inside.
The White House is an earthly destination and easy to find. How does an ordinary person find heaven? Does anyone really know the way? Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me,” John 14:6.
The bad news is that mankind has been given a death sentence, since we have all sinned, we are all somewhere in the gray area. The really bad news, without Jesus we are all on the Highway to Hell for all of eternity. Even our righteous deeds are not good enough to gain access into heaven. The Bible says, “our righteous acts are like filthy rags.” It's like needing a blood transfusion and only having a few drops, you need the full thing from Jesus.
The good news is anyone can accept God’s plan of salvation and be moved instantly out of the gray area.
God can take your sin away, and make your heart clean, whiter than snow. We are living in the Day of Grace, God’s Son, Jesus came to earth to tell us He made a shortcut into Heaven for everyone who puts their hope and trust in him; believing in their heart and confessing with their mouth that Jesus is Lord. Jesus will be faithful to forgive you for all the crazy-stupid stuff and even the evil things you’ve done when you ask him.
Inviting Jesus into your life doesn't mean your eyes are going to glaze over, roll back in your head while you start speaking Latin or Hebrew. It means you'll have the Great God of the universe helping you navigate the lies of the enemy, Satan is a liar and the father of liars. The bible tells us Satan masquerades as an Angel of light, that means he looks like one of the good guys. The bible also says sin is fun for a season. That's why we need someone like Jesus living inside us, “Greater is He who is in you than he that is in the world.”
When Jesus was on earth, he went around telling people to, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
To comprehend the power and importance of this simple statement and the man who delivered it, is to understand the crux of the Christian faith, the entire Bible and our very existence on this planet.
Do you ever wonder why Christians might seem obsessed with Jesus? Especially around the holidays, Jesus seems to be all we talk about! Jesus as a baby in a manger (that would be Christmas), Jesus claimed to be the son of God, Jesus hanging on a cross (that would be Easter), Jesus, Jesus, Jesus (Yeshua, if you’re Jewish)!
Jesus coming to earth as a human is about as humbling as a human turning into an amoeba; the single-celled organism you may have learned about in school. Trying to figure out God and his ways is similar to explaining your life, with all of its modern complexities and conveniences, to an amoeba.
Besides telling us the obvious, that Jesus took the punishment we deserved, the Bible also tells us, "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
When Jesus started his earthly ministry, he went to the temple and read from the book of Isaiah:
"THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR. HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES, AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED, TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD."…
Who are the captives Jesus is talking about? In Genesis, the first book of the Bible, we are told that God created everything in heaven and earth, including angels. The Bible tells us we are fallen beings, created in the image of God, a little lower than the angels.
It also tells us that Jesus' birth, life and death were all part of a global rescue mission God has been executing from the beginning of time. The whole Bible, from Genesis to the book of Revelation, tells the story of God reaching down to man, making a way for mankind to come back to God.
Here is a probable timeline of events:
1. God created Lucifer, also known as Satan, as the most beautiful angel. Lucifer desired to become like God, and started a "war in heaven."
2. Lucifer lost the war and was cast out of Heaven along with a third of the angels before or during the time Adam and Eve were living in Eden. “The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.” If you’ve ever wondered why earth is messed up, boom, there’s your answer. Those fallen angels are now known as demons.
3. Satan, fallen and cast out of Heaven, appeared in Eden in the form of a serpent to deceive Eve, ultimately bringing Adam down with her.
4. Satan continues to tempt, torment, and accuse mankind, as evident in the book of Job. The Bible tells humanity to, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
5. The Bible tells us, “For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment.” Where does that leave humanity?
6. The angelic fall from heaven is complete and final. We can see that humans can either be used as receptacles for the divine or demonic. (A Receptacle for the divine means you’ve invited Jesus into your heart and the Holy Spirit, also known as The Comforter is living inside you. You love the truth, the Bible and the name of Jesus; because you love God and He’s alive inside of you. You understand that life on planet Earth is a temporary assignment. Deep down you know that whatever happens, even the bad stuff, God will work for your good. Life on planet earth will be as bad as it ever gets for you. You are looking forward to what God has in store for you in heaven. A Receptacle for the demonic means you’ve rejected God and the word of God, which is the bible; essentially calling God a liar. The bible is irritating and revolting; it sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard. Those voices in your head aren’t going to like what I say. Life on planet Earth will be as good as it will ever get for you. You may be hoping someone someday will find an exoplanet or a way for you to stay alive forever. Good luck with that plan.) Jesus came to set the captives free and “the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."
Jesus released mankind from their chains of bondage. The Bible tells us that part of the testing and trials we experience are part of a plan to see if we will come back to God (on His terms). There is also an interesting “behind the scenes” interaction between God and Satan in the book of Job, spelled like job. Where Satan accused God of allowing Job to prosper so Job would worship God. God allowed Satan to take everything away from Job. He lost his health, wealth, family, friends and reputation but he never accused God of wrongdoing. God eventually restored twice as much back to Job. Have you ever lost anything? Did you blame God? The story in Job tells us if God removed his protection from each and every one of us, it would be Game Over, Day One for everybody! Are you just following God for the goodies? God knows and Satan will be accusing us of that!
The bible tells us, “There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
The Bible also tells us that Satan's time is short, soon he, and all who reject God's plan of salvation, will be defeated and cast into the lake of fire, which is eternal destruction. Hell is not going to be a party place where your friends will be partying it up and having a great time. It is a lake of fire where the flame never dies and the worm never dies. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. There’s an account in the Bible of a man who was fully conscious, fully aware of the flames and longed for one drop of water to cool his tongue. There’s no Starbucks in Hell. There’s no breakfast in Hell. There’s nothing good at all in Hell. There is also no door out of Hell and there’s only one door into heaven and you can only go through it while you’re alive; it’s through Jesus!
If you were the richest, most powerful, intelligent person in the world or let’s just say the universe, you could put your friends and enemies into a simulator to see who your real friends were, would you do it? Perhaps this is what God has done and He’s given the Home Team an advantage by allowing all of us to be born with a sin nature!
Before Jesus went back to heaven, he gave his followers a new command. He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Jesus said, “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”
So, as a Christ follower I say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
Repentance can be described as a person going down a road the wrong way recognizing they are on the wrong path, turning around and going the way God wants you to go. The Bible also says, “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation.” This means we have genuine sorrow we’re not just sorry that we got caught.
You can have a new life with Jesus today! Your eternal future will be secure no matter what tomorrow brings. When you have God’s son, Jesus, He will be a friend that sticks closer than a brother. He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. The Bible asks, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, God says, I will never forget you! See I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.” This passage was written before Jesus went to the cross and had nails driven through his hands. I believe God was looking ahead and seeing that everyone who puts their hope and trust in those nail scarred hands of Jesus, Satan will never be able to snatch away because a legal transaction has taken place.
I hope everyone will reflect on the true meaning of Jesus’ birth, death and return. 2021 years ago Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, he lived on earth for 33 years and was crucified for claiming to be the Messiah, the savior of the world and God’s son. The little A.D. at the end of every year - Anno Domini, it means we are living in the year of our Lord. Jesus made a promise that he would return someday, in the twinkling of an eye. In 1999, Ahmed Zewail, (the man known as the father of femtochemistry) was awarded the Nobel Prize for demonstrating how fast the human eye processes light in real time. It happens in 200 femtoseconds, or 1 millionth of 1 billionth of a second. For context, a femtosecond is to a second as a second is to about 32 million years. If you're going to wait for Christ to return to convert to Christianity, it will be too late, like millions of years too late.
Once again, the Bible asks, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his soul?” I live on the same street as a cemetery. Every week there’s a funeral procession that goes past my house. The hearse is not being followed by a moving truck. It’s followed by family, friends and sometimes coworkers. You can gain all the money, baubles and trinkets this world has to offer the bible says “men praise you when you prosper” but your friends and family are the only things you can take with you into heaven. The bible isn’t talking about working. God wants you to work, “If anyone isn't willing to work, he should not eat.”
Several decades ago, my family experienced a shocking funeral of our own when my younger brother was killed in a pedestrian - automobile accident. One minute he was a healthy, living, breathing, active teenager who had his whole life ahead of him, the next he was lying in the road and was pronounced DOA at the hospital.
For me and my family, life suddenly seemed fragile and took on a serious, dark turn. I wondered how people could talk and laugh when everything in my world had come to a screeching halt. For the next ten years I would experience extreme emotional distress every time I thought about my brother. The loss was painful and real.
My brother didn't have time to make a name for himself or leave a mark on this world but he was sorely missed. Today, you may be wondering if anyone knows who you are. Does anyone really love you for who you are? Would they miss you if you suddenly disappeared or, heaven forbid, died?
I am here to let you know that there is a great cosmic struggle going on for your soul. You may not be known outside your friends or family but you are intimately known, pursued and loved by God.
When someone loses something that belonged to them, maybe it's money, a pet, child or spouse -that missing person or object may seem of little value to everyone on the planet but the person it belonged to it means everything. God tells us in the Bible that HE is the one who goes in search of the lost and missing. “If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?” This verse tells us if you were the only human on the planet, God would leave everything and come looking for you!
I can confirm this in my own life. I was raised in the church, then walked away as a young adult. God drew me back with what the bible calls cords of human kindness. He can do the same for you because he's no respecter of persons.
Years ago, I heard about a different kind of person who died. When I offered my condolences, I was told his family was better off without him. They said things like, “It was a Relief and Good riddance.”
Researchers have pinpointed the place where cancer cells may begin. Cancer cells are normal cells that go awry by making Developmental decisions during their lives. Don't be the scaled-up version of cancer to your family and society! Studies have been done and even books written on how, “Hurt People Hurt People.” Ask God, the great physician to heal your deep emotional wounds before they become festering sores, causing you to lash out and injure everyone around you.
I have had the privilege of traveling across the United States a few summers ago with my kids. We made a point of going to places that were started by one individual, like The Billy Graham Library (based on Billy Graham's life), Focus on the Family (started by James Dobson) and The Creation Museum (started by Ken Ham). These places had something in common, there was One Dedicated Individual with a Godly Vision who Never Gave Up. On my last trip, I was told repeatedly that people ARE HOPING AND PRAYING THAT the folks in Washington DC DO THE RIGHT THING. That is my prayer too. I’m praying Washington DC will become the godliest place in the whole United States. We can all do the right thing, we can all be faithful with whatever God has given us to do. I’m reminded of the great shepherd king, David who said, “I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” He was known as a man after God’s own heart! It doesn’t mean he was perfect, you can read about his sin in the bible. When God chose to send Jesus into the world, He chose David’s family line.
I used to read missionary stories to my kids when they were young. One stood out in particular because it was about a small African child who saw a missionary's wife using a broom and dustpan for the first time and said, “change my name to ‘Dust Pan’ because I want to be a Dust Pan for Jesus and have him use me to carry out the dirt (sin) away from my village!
We can all do something for God. We may feel like we don’t have enough beauty, money or talent. If you look hard enough, there will always be someone who’s thinner, better looking, smarter, better educated, more talented and richer. Does that mean we shouldn’t try and do something for God? God doesn’t want us to compare ourselves to other people. Instead we should be looking at rocks. Pretty sure everybody is better looking, better educated and has more money than a rock. Jesus told us in the Bible, “if we are silent, the stones will cry out.”
Jesus didn't come as one of the beautiful people. Isaiah 53 says, “He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire him.”
“He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces was despised and we held him in low esteem.”
Science tells us that beauty is mathematical, based on the Golden Ratio. The Bible says, “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
When Jesus was describing his living conditions he said, "Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." This was coming from someone who was skilled and made his living as a carpenter! You can imagine the house Jesus would have built, people would still be reverse engineering that thing to this day!
Jesus was able to do more in three years of ministry than anyone has done before or since! He’s the reason the calendar was changed from BC to AD!
We are all God’s creation but not everyone is his child. You were not able to choose your earthly parents but God is not only asking but practically begging people to choose him as your heavenly father! You can be ‘born again’ into the family of God! You’ll never be disappointed!
It's not enough to grudgingly believe there's a God, the Bible says, “Even the demons believe there is one God and shudder.” They are in Hell.
If you’d like to be part of the family of God you can say something really simple like a sinner's prayer, “Lord, I'm a sinner in need of a saviour. Please come into my heart Jesus and save me.”
The Bible says, “if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Know that God along with all the angels are rejoicing over your decision, if you made that decision today.
I would encourage you to find a good bible-believing church to go to and try to read and understand the Bible for yourself. A good place to start is the book of John.
America Again (adapted from the late Gospel singer and songwriter, Carman Licciardello)
George Washington, Thomas Jefferson
Samuel Adams, First Chief Justice John Jay,
Names synonymous with the spirit of our country
Founding fathers of the U.S.A.
Over 200 years ago they shook off the chains of tyranny
From Great Britain by Divine Call,
Citing 27 Biblical violations, they wrote the Declaration of Independence
With liberty and justice for all.
But something happened since Jefferson called the Bible the cornerstone,
For American liberty then put it in our schools as a Light
Or since "Give me liberty, or give me death," Patrick Henry said,
"Our country was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ"
We eliminated God from the equation of American life
Thus eliminating the reason this nation first began
From beyond the grave I hear the voices of our founding fathers plead
You need God in America again
Of the 55 men who formed the Constitution
Fifty-two were active members of their church
Founding fathers like Noah Webster, who wrote the first dictionary
Could literally quote the Bible chapter and verse
James Madison said, "We've staked our future on our ability to follow
The Ten Commandments with all our heart"
These men believed you couldn't even call yourself an American
If you subvert the Word of God
In his farewell address, Washington said, "You can't have
National morality apart from religious principle,"
Right now we have nearly 200,000 kids carrying weapons
To these war zones we call public schools
In the '40's and '50's student problems were chewing gum and talking
Today, rape and murder are the trend
The only way this nation can even hope to last this decade
Is to put God in America again
The only hope for America is Jesus
The only hope for our country is Him
If we repent of our ways stand firm and say,
"We need God in America again!"
Abe Lincoln said, "The philosophy of the school room in one generation
Will be the philosophy of government of the next"
So when you eliminate the Word of God from the classroom and politics
You eliminate the nation that God's Word protects
America is now number one in teen pregnancy and violent crime
Number one in illiteracy, drug use, and divorce
Everyday a new holocaust of thousands of unborn babies die
While pornography floods our streets with no remorse
America's dead and dying hand is on the threshold of the Church
While the spirit of Sodom and Gomorrah vex us all
When it gets to the point where people would rather come out of the closet than clean it
It's a sign that the judgment of God is going to fall
If there's ever been a time to rise up Church, it's now
And as the Blood brought Saints of the Living God to proclaim
That it's time to sound the alarm, from the Church House
To the White House and say,"We want God back in America again!"
I believe it's time for America to stand up and proclaim
That one nation under God is our demand
And send this evil lifestyle back to Satan where it came from
And let the Word of God revive our dying land
For Jesus Christ is coming back again in all His Glory
And every eye shall see Him on that day
That's why a new anointing of God's power is coming on us
To boldly tell the world you must be saved
Because astrology won't save you, your horoscope won't save you
The Bible says these things are all a farce
If you're born again, you don't need to look to that stuff for your answers
Because you can look to the very One who made those stars
History tells us time and time again
To live like there's no God makes you a fool
If you want to see our children live right
Stop handing out condoms and start handing out Bibles
in school
The only hope for America is Jesus
The only hope for our country is Him
If we repent of our ways
Stand firm and say,
"We Need God In America Again!"
